IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT / LOGO DESIGN

 

Project Background:

Chicago Wolves and emmy-winning photographer Ross Dettman approached me in 20XX inspired to develop his business identity materials. I met with Ross to get a deeper understanding of the man behind the lens, what drives him, inspires him, how does he live, who is Ross beyond a sports photographer and how can we extend his brand.

 
 

Results:

After learning Ross was trained as an engineer but uniquely creative, the logo … Unexpected tagline “Logically Creative” emerged. Lens shape and “RD”. Incredibly important to stay true to who he is since so much is expressed in his work, greens and reds. After a trip to Whole Foods, I was new to Chicago and had never been inspired by the packaging. We printed on green, eco-friendly materials.
